Faith is something that I have always had, but I never felt that connection to a higher power within that faith. A relationship with God is new to me. This poem will reflect that discovery for me, and I am going to use the Spirit’s Vessel poetry style that was created by Christina R Jussaume.
Vivid the memories
Even the clouds and seas
Still, I found my retreat
Simple pleasures found me
Elevate me to life
Loving Him as his child
Open your heart and mind
Fevers will dissipate
Youth able to renew
Our sins are forgiven
Up, up, and up, we lift
Rejoice, renew, feel praise
Both of them, Lord and son
Remain to breathe for us
Everlasting grace, love
Amen, he is with me
Today and forever
He will love me for me.
