Welcome back to the next Sunday Ramble. For those that are just joining us, the Sunday Ramble Prompt will be based upon a certain topic. I will ask five questions about that topic, and you can ramble on however you wish. This post will be scheduled for 5 a.m. PST (California Time) every Sunday.
Last week’s Ramble about Creativity and Imagination was really great for me to learn about how other peoples’ writing journeys began. Thank you for sharing that with me! β€

This week’s topic is “Technology and The Future“.
Here are the questions:
- Are there any applications on your mobile device, tablets, etc. that you cannot live without? Feel free to ramble about them! Maybe we will learn new apps that will become important in our own lives.
- Do you prefer Apple or Android?
- Windows OS or MacOS?
- What do you wish that you would have placed in a time capsule 15+ years ago to have access to now?
- When you think of the what the world will look like 50 years from now, what does that future look like through your eyes? Go as sci-fi and/or fantasy as you would like and ramble on however you wish to ramble π
Once you have answered all of the questions, be sure to tag it with #EM-SRP and create a pingback to this post.
Please visit your fellow bloggers to see their rambles. It’s a nice way to get to know them *smiles*
I hope you all enjoy this week’s ramble on our devices, time capsules, and the future. I will be doing a separate post this week with my answers, as I am running late setting up my Sunday Ramble this week. Today was get organized and clean day at our house, but it was very productive.
xoxo, E.M.

Well in truth and simplicity. No. I use an iPad and a desktop computer. I have a Nokia brick phone with no Internet connection, it’s abasic model. I use my ipad for reading and watching movies on and surfing. it never leaves the house. i don’t need any apps aside from those. could l live without them? yes.
Could l live without my mobile phone? Yes, if you want it give me your address and l’ll send it to you!
Could l live without my desktop PC? No, it doesn’t have apps – l can’t stand apps.
Do you prefer Apple or Android?
Apples are for eating, androids are for shooting down other robots.
Windows OS or MacOS?
Windows – preferably the square ones.
What do you wish that you would have placed in a time capsule 15+ years ago to have access to now?
My younger healthier self π
When you think of the what the world will look like 50 years from now, what does that future look like through your eyes? Go as sci-fi and/or fantasy as you would like and ramble on however you wish to ramble
We are all dead or dying on a planet sapped of everything young and fresh … oh no, wait a moment l think that maybe the life on Total recall, and maybe that was mars, oops my bad. Okay let’s star again … fifty years from now l will be going on 109 … mm, although l might be very lucky to simply see 70 at the rate my health is expiring.
Okay LIFE in 2072
Robots will be using us as sex slaves. Digital technology will be the new blood. I died in the year 2033 and yet this damn robot is dry humping me for the 157th time and my thighs are starting to chaff! The world is drying up on all valuable resources, Mother Nature and Father time got together and yearly flood the planet, split it in ha -lf and then dry roast it for pleasure! The economy is purely designed for the elitist parties and they are about the only humans left!
On a serious side, large estate homes will not be allowed and they will be banned, people will live in cubicles aside from the elistists, we will become drones to the giant enormity of the digital slave market – so no different to our governments today.
One thing for sure is this … life will be different or sadly it’ll not be.

You definitely can keep the flip phone π I hated having to push buttons a million times to send messages, and I actually hate talking on the phone *laughs* I spent too much time on it when I was younger I suppose lol.
If I could have fallen out of my chair from laughing too hard, it would have happened at the sex slaves sentence and then again at chaffed thighs π That was very creative, but I really hope not to be raped for the rest of my life and death π¬ππ²
You always have me smiling when I read your responses, Rory! The serious side is definitely something that worries me as well. Great rambles, Rory!
