The Bloganuary for January 26th asked:

If you would have asked me this 4 years ago, I would have had a hard time answering it. I have been working on self-love since getting out of a bad relationship, and it was difficult to find love within me.

To answer the question, I would say that my favorite part about me is my heart. It has been stomped on, broken, crushed, played with, cheated on, and so much more, but it still beats and finds a way to see the good in people.

If we are looking at the physical aspect of my favorite part of me, I would say that it is my eyes.

  1. My daughter, while listening to the song “The Impossible Dream,” turned to me and said, “Dad, this song is so you!” I thought of that when you wrote that your favorite part of yourself was your “heart.” Never give up.
